Small by choice.
We cap the number of products we build and maintain. Every decision gets our full attention, not a junior account manager. When you talk to Matech, you talk to the people who write the code.
No bloat, ever.
We build exactly what solves the problem. Nothing more. Features that don't serve users don't ship. Our products stay lean on purpose, fast to load, easy to learn, simple to maintain.
Honest software.
Free means free. No dark patterns, no bait-and-switch pricing, disguised as features. We believe software can be a product people pay for once, or not at all, and still be sustainable.
Built to last.
We write code for five years from now. Architecture decisions favour longevity over delivery speed. Good software shouldn't need to be rewritten every 18 months because someone cut corners in the foundation.
Real problems first.
Every product we build starts from a frustration we've seen up close, not a market opportunity on a slide. We don't solve problems we haven't felt. That keeps us from building solutions looking for a problem.
Transparent by default.
No jargon, no vague timelines, no over-promising. We say what we're building, how long it takes, and what it will cost. If something isn't working, we say so, before it becomes your problem.
